Theory of Sets, II, 125

Let G be a graph. Show that for each set X we have

G(X)=pr2(G∩(X×pr2G))andG(X)=G(X∩pr1G).\mathrm{G}(\mathrm{X}) = \mathrm{pr}_2(\mathrm{G} \cap (\mathrm{X} \times \mathrm{pr}_2\mathrm{G})) \qquad \text{and} \qquad \mathrm{G}(\mathrm{X}) = \mathrm{G}(\mathrm{X} \cap \mathrm{pr}_1\mathrm{G}).
