Every totally discontinuous compact subspace of $\mathbf{R}^n$ with no isolated points is homeomorphic to Cantor’s triadic set (use Chapter IV, § 8, Exercises 11 and 12, and Chapter II, § 4, no. 4, Proposition 6).
