Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 12. Chevalley orders

If g\mathfrak{g} is semi-simple, the permissible lattices in h\mathfrak{h} are the subgroups H\mathscr{H} of h\mathfrak{h} such that Q(R∨)⊂H⊂P(R∨)Q(R^{\vee})\subset \mathscr{H}\subset P(R^{\vee}).

In the remainder of this number, we assume fixed a split reductive Lie algebra (g,h)(\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{h}), a basis B of R=R(g,h)R = R(\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{h}) and, for each α∈B\alpha \in B, a pair (xα,yα)(x_{\alpha}, y_{\alpha}) with

yα∈g−α,xα∈gα,[yα,xα]=Hα(20) y_{\alpha}\in \mathfrak{g}^{-\alpha},x_{\alpha}\in \mathfrak{g}^{\alpha},[y_{\alpha}, x_{\alpha}] =H_{\alpha} \tag{20}

If we denote by n+\mathfrak{n}_+ (resp. n−\mathfrak{n}_-) the subalgebra of g\mathfrak{g} generated by the xαx_{\alpha} (resp. the yαy_{\alpha}), we know (§3, no. 3, Prop. 9 (iii)) that

g=n−⊕h⊕n+(21) \mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{n}_-\oplus \mathfrak{h}\oplus \mathfrak{n}_+ \tag{21}
U(g)=U(n−)⊗QU(h)⊗QU(n+)(22) U(\mathfrak{g}) = U(\mathfrak{n}_-)\otimes_{\mathbf{Q}}U(\mathfrak{h})\otimes_{\mathbf{Q}}U(\mathfrak{n}_+) \tag{22}

(where U(g),..U(\mathfrak{g}), . .. are the enveloping algebras of g,...\mathfrak{g}, . . .).

Denote by U+\mathscr{U}_+ the Z\mathbf{Z}-subalgebra of U(n+)U(\mathfrak{n}_+) generated by the xα(n)x^{(n)}_{\alpha} for α∈B\alpha \in B and n∈Nn\in \mathbf{N}. Let W be the Weyl group of R,R+R, R_+ the set of positive roots relative to B.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
