General Topology, chapter II, § 3. Complete spaces

Let (Xα,fαβ)(X_\alpha, f_{\alpha \beta}) be an inverse system of sets indexed by a directed set II which has a countable cofinal subset, and suppose that the fαβf_{\alpha \beta} are surjective. Then if X=lim←⁡XαX = \varprojlim X_\alpha, the canonical mapping fα:X→Xαf_\alpha : X \to X_\alpha is surjective for each α∈I\alpha \in I.

Let each XαX_\alpha carry the discrete uniformity, and apply Theorem 1.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
