Let $A$ be a local ring, $M$ a finitely generated $A$-module, $F$ a closed subset of $\mathrm{Spec}(A)$. Prove the inequality $\mathrm{prof}_F(M) \geq \mathrm{prof}(M) - \dim(F)$.
