Let $A$ be a Noetherian integral domain which is not a field, $K$ its field of fractions and $m$ an ideal $\neq A$ of $A$. The $m$-adic topology on $A$ is not induced by the $m$-adic topology on $K$ and the latter is not Hausdorff.
