Exercise 12, § 7

Algebra, III, 636

Bourbaki marks this one as harder than the rest.

In the notation of Exercise 11, let B be the quotient ring

A/(AX2+AY2+AZ2) A/(AX^2 + AY^2 + AZ^2)
and let G be the B-module E⊗ABE \otimes_A B. Show that in T2(G)T^2(G), the module g2′′\mathfrak{g}_2'' is distinct from the kernel of the endomorphism z↦azz \mapsto az (method analogous to that of Exercise 11).
