Exercise 16, § 11

Algebra, V, p. 164

For every prime number pp there exists a Moriya field of characteristic pp such that the set of degrees of algebraic extensions of finite degree of this field is the set N∗N^* of integers >0> 0^1. Show that for every set PP of prime numbers, there exists a Moriya field KK of any characteristic, such that the set of degrees of algebraic extensions of finite degree of KK is the set NN, (argue as in Ex. 14, b)).
