Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, III, 399

Let G be the semi-direct product of B=Z/2ZB = \mathbf{Z}/2\mathbf{Z} by K corresponding to the automorphism x↦−xx \mapsto -x of the Lie group K. Then L(K)L(K) is an ideal of L(G)L(G) and L(B)={0}L(B) = \{0\}, but (K,B)=K(K, B) = K.
