Algebra, VIII, p. 43

Let A be ring, let M be an A-module of finite length, and let N be an A-module. Let mm and nn be strictly positive integers such that MmM^m and NnN^n are isomorphic. Prove that there exist an A-module P and integers p,qp, q such that M is isomorphic to Pp,NP^p, N is isomorphic to PqP^q, and mp=nqmp=nq.
