Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VII, § 1. Primary decomposition of linear representations

Let h\mathfrak{h} be a Lie algebra, and L,M,NhL,M,N\mathfrak{h}-modules. Denote by P the set of maps from h\mathfrak{h} to kk.

(i) The sum ∑λ∈PLλ(P)\sum_{\lambda\in P}L^{\lambda}(P) is direct.

(ii) If f:L→Mf: L\rightarrow M is a homomorphism of h\mathfrak{h}-modules, f(Lλ(h))⊂Mλ(h)f(L^{\lambda}(\mathfrak{h}))\subset M^{\lambda}(\mathfrak{h}) for all λ∈P\lambda \in P.

(iii) If f:L×M→Nf: L\times M\rightarrow N is a bilinear h\mathfrak{h}-invariant map,

f(Lλ(h)×Mμ(h))⊂Nλ+μ(h) f(L^{\lambda}(\mathfrak{h})\times M^\mu(\mathfrak{h}))\subset N^{\lambda+\mu}(\mathfrak{h})

for all λ,μ∈P\lambda , \mu\in P.

This follows from Props. 2 and 3.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
