Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 7. Finite dimensional modules over a split semi-simple Lie algebra

(i) Let (ϖα)α∈B(\varpi_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B} be the family of fundamental weights relative to B. Let (Tα)α∈B(T_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B} be a family of indeterminates. The map f→f(([ϖα])α∈B)f \rightarrow f(([\varpi_{\alpha}])_{\alpha\in B}) from Z[(Tα)α∈B]\mathbf{Z}[(T_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B}] to R(g)\mathscr{R}(\mathfrak{g}) is an isomorphism of rings.

(ii) The homomorphism ch from R(g)\mathscr{R}(\mathfrak{g}) to Z[P]\mathbf{Z}[P] induces an isomorphism from the ring R(g)\mathscr{R}(\mathfrak{g}) to the ring Z[P]W\mathbf{Z}[P]^W.

(iii) Let E be a finite dimensional g\mathfrak{g}-module. If ch E=∑λ∈P++mλE =\sum_{\lambda\in P_{++}}m_{\lambda}ch[λ]\lambda ], the isotypical component of E of highest weight λ\lambda has length mλm_{\lambda}.

The family ([λ])λ∈P++([\lambda ])_{\lambda\in P_{++}} is a basis of the Z\mathbf{Z}-module R(g)\mathscr{R}(\mathfrak{g}), and the family (ch[λ]\lambda ])λ∈P++_{\lambda\in P_{++}} is a basis of the Z\mathbf{Z}-module Z[P]W\mathbf{Z}[P]^W (Lemma 6, and Chap. VI, §3, no. 4, Prop. 3). This proves (ii) and (iii). Assertion (i) follows from (ii), Lemma 6 and Chap. VI, §3, no. 4, Th. 1.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
