Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 12. Chevalley orders

Let c\mathfrak{c} be the centre of g\mathfrak{g}. Then, a lattice H\mathscr{H} in h\mathfrak{h} is permissible if and only if Q(R∨)⊂H⊂P(R∨)⊕cQ(R^{\vee})\subset \mathscr{H}\subset P(R^{\vee})\oplus \mathfrak{c}. The lattice H∩Dg\mathscr{H}\cap \mathscr{D}\mathfrak{g} is then permissible in the Cartan subalgebra h∩Dg\mathfrak{h}\cap \mathscr{D}\mathfrak{g} of Dg\mathscr{D}\mathfrak{g}. There may exist permissible lattices H\mathscr{H} such that H≠(H∩Dg)⊕(H∩c)\mathscr{H}\not= (\mathscr{H}\cap \mathscr{D}\mathfrak{g})\oplus (\mathscr{H}\cap \mathfrak{c}) (cf. §13, no. 1.IX).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
