Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 12. Chevalley orders

Put G=U∩g\mathscr{G}=\mathscr{U}\cap \mathfrak{g}. Then G\mathscr{G} is an order in the Lie algebra g\mathfrak{g}, stable under θ\theta. We have G=H+∑α∈R(G∩gα)\mathscr{G}=\mathscr{H}+\sum_{\alpha\in R}(\mathscr{G}\cap \mathfrak{g}^{\alpha}). For all α∈B\alpha \in B and all n∈Nn\in \mathbf{N}, the maps (ad xαx_{\alpha})n/n^n/n!, (ad yαy_{\alpha})n/n^n/n! leave U\mathscr{U} and G\mathscr{G} stable.

The first assertion is clear. The second follows by considering the graduation of type Q(R) on U(g)U(\mathfrak{g}) and U\mathscr{U}. The third follows from Lemma 2 of no. 5.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
