Topologie algébrique, chapter III, § 1. Homotopies, homéotopies

The mapping αf\alpha_f is injective. For every subset U

of X, one has αf−1(αf(U))=U\alpha^{-1}_f(\alpha_f(U)) = U and βf−1(αf(U))=f−1(U)\beta^{-1}_f(\alpha_f(U)) =\overset{-1}{f}(U). If A is an open (resp. closed) subset of B, these relations imply that αf\alpha_f is an open (resp. closed) mapping of X into X∪fBX\cup_fB.

Let U be an open subset of X and let V be an open subset of B such that f−1(U)=V∩A\overset{-1}{f}(U) = V\cap A. The union of the subsets U of Y1Y_1 and V of Y2Y_2 is a saturated open subset of Y; its image in X∪fBX\cup_fB is therefore open, and its trace on αf(X)\alpha_f(X) is αf(U)\alpha_f(U). It follows that the mapping αf\alpha_f defines a homeomorphism of X onto its image in X∪fBX\cup_fB.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
