Topologie algébrique, chapter IV, § 2. Groupes de Poincaré des espaces délaçables

Let X be a Baire space, let G be a topological group acting continuously on X and let B be an approachable subset of X which is not meagre. The set of points g∈Gg\in G such that B∩gB=∅̸B\cap gB=\not\emptyset is a neighbourhood of the identity element of G.

Since B is approachable, ∁B\complement B is also approachable, for the set of approachable subsets of X is a tribe. Hence there exists an open subset U of X such that U∩∁BU\cap \complement B and B∩∁UB\cap \complement U are meagre in X.

Let V be a neighbourhood of the identity element of G and W a nonempty open subset of X contained in U such that V⋅W⊂UV\cdot W\subset U. For every g∈Vg\in V, U∩gUU\cap gU is nonempty.

Let g∈Gg\in G be such that B∩gBB\cap gB is empty. The relations

U∩gU=(U∩gU)∩∁(B∩gB) U\cap gU = (U\cap gU)\cap \complement (B\cap gB)
=(U∩gU)∩(∁B∪g∁B) = (U\cap gU)\cap (\complement B\cup g\complement B)
=(U∩gU∩∁B)∪(U∩gU∩g∁B) = (U\cap gU\cap \complement B)\cup (U\cap gU\cap g\complement B)
⊂(U∩∁B)∪g(U∩∁B) \subset (U\cap \complement B)\cup g(U\cap \complement B)

imply that U∩gUU\cap gU is meagre in X. Since this is an open subset and X is a Baire space, it is empty. Hence g∉Vg\notin V, which proves the lemma.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
