Theory of Sets, chapter III, § 6. Infinite sets

If a\mathfrak{a} and b\mathfrak{b} are two non-zero cardinals, one of which is infinite, we have ab=a+b=sup⁡ (a, b)\mathfrak{a}\mathfrak{b} = \mathfrak{a} + \mathfrak{b} = \sup\,(\mathfrak{a},\,\mathfrak{b}).

This follows directly from Corollaries 2 and 3.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
