Theory of Sets, chapter II, § 5. Product of a family of sets

Let (Xι,ϰ)(ι,ϰ)∈I×K(X_{\iota, \varkappa})_{(\iota, \varkappa) \in I \times K} be a family of sets whose index set is the product of two sets I and K. If K≠∅K \neq \emptyset, we have

⋂ϰ∈K(∏ι∈IXι,ϰ)=∏ι∈I(⋂K∈ϰXι,ϰ).\bigcap_{\varkappa \in K} \left( \prod_{\iota \in I} X_{\iota, \varkappa} \right) = \prod_{\iota \in I} \left( \bigcap_{K \in \varkappa} X_{\iota, \varkappa} \right).

Both sides of the equality to be proved are functional graphs. A graph ff belongs to the left-hand side if and only if, for each ϰ∈K\varkappa \in K, f∈∏ι∈IXι,ϰf \in \prod_{\iota \in I} X_{\iota, \varkappa}; that is, if and only if f(ι)∈Xι,ϰf(\iota) \in X_{\iota, \varkappa} for all (ι,ϰ)∈I×K(\iota, \varkappa) \in I \times K. For ff to belong to the right-hand side it is necessary and sufficient that f(ι)∈⋂ϰ∈KXι,ϰf(\iota) \in \bigcap_{\varkappa \in K} X_{\iota, \varkappa} for each ι∈I\iota \in I, i.e., that f(ι)∈Xι,ϰf(\iota) \in X_{\iota, \varkappa} for each pair (ι,ϰ)∈I×K(\iota, \varkappa) \in I \times K. This completes the proof.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
