Theory of Sets, chapter II, § 3. Correspondences

If ff is a mapping of AA into BB, the function ff is equal to the function x→f(x)x \to f(x) (x∈Ax \in A, f(x)∈Bf(x) \in B), which is written simply as x→f(x)x \to f(x) or also (fx)x∈A(f_x)_{x \in A} (the latter notation is especially associated with the phrase “family of elements” instead of “function”).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
