Theory of Sets, chapter III, § 2. Well-ordered sets

Let F\mathfrak{F} be a set of subsets of a set A, ordered by inclusion, and such that for every totally ordered subset G\mathfrak{G} of F\mathfrak{F} the union of the sets of G\mathfrak{G} belongs to F\mathfrak{F}. Then F\mathfrak{F} is inductive with respect to the relation ⊂\subset because the union of the sets of G\mathfrak{G} is the least upper bound of G\mathfrak{G} in P(A)\mathfrak{P}(\mathrm{A}).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
