Theory of Sets, chapter III, § 7. Inverse limits and direct limits

If the EαE_\alpha are finite sets, Theorem 1 can be applied by taking Sα\mathfrak{S}_\alpha to be the set of all subsets of EαE_\alpha. \* This example is generalized in General Topology to the situation in which the EαE_\alpha are compact topological spaces, the fαβf_{\alpha\beta} continuous maps, and Sα\mathfrak{S}_\alpha the set of closed subsets of EαE_\alpha (General Topology, Chapter I, § 9, no. 6). \*

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
