Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 2. Rings and modules of fractions

Let M,N,PM, N, P be three AA-modules, f:M×N→Pf : M \times N \to P an AA-bilinear mapping and S−1f:(S−1M)×(S−1N)→(S−1P)S^{-1}f : (S^{-1}M) \times (S^{-1}N) \to (S^{-1}P) the S−1AS^{-1}A-bilinear mapping obtained from ff by extending the ring of scalars to S−1AS^{-1}A (Algebra, Chapter IX, § 1, no. 4, Proposition 1). Let i:M→S−1M,j:N→S−1Ni : M \to S^{-1}M, j : N \to S^{-1}N be the canonical homomorphisms; it follows immediately that, if QQ is the sub-AA-module of PP generated by f(M×N)f(M \times N), S−1QS^{-1}Q is the sub-S−1AS^{-1}A-module of S−1PS^{-1}P generated by (S−1f)(i(M)×j(N))(S^{-1}f)(i(M) \times j(N)).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
