Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 4. Spectra of rings and supports of modules

The closure of a set consisting of a point p∈X=Spec(A)p \in X = \mathrm{Spec}(A) is the set V(p)V(p) of prime ideals containing pp. For the set {p}\{p\} to be closed in XX (or, as we shall also say by an abuse of language, for pp to be a closedpoint of XX), it is necessary and sufficient that pp be maximal.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
