Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 5. Finitely generated projective modules. Invertible fractional ideals

Let M, N be two sub-A-modules of B. Suppose that M is invertible. Then: (i) The canonical homomorphism M⊗AN→M.NM \otimes_A N \to M . N is bijective. (ii) N:M=N.(A:M)N : M = N . (A : M) and N=(N:M).MN = (N : M) . M.

Let jj be the canonical injection N→BN \to B. Since MM is a flat AA-module (Corollary to Theorem 4), 1⊗j:M⊗AN→M⊗AB1 \otimes j : M \otimes_A N \to M \otimes_A B is injective. But, as B=S−1AB = S^{-1}A, the BB-module M⊗ABM \otimes_A B is equal to S−1MS^{-1}M and hence is identified with BB since MM is non-degenerate (no. 5, Proposition 8). If this identification is made, the image of 1⊗j1 \otimes j is M.NM . N, whence (i).

Let us set M′=A:MM' = A : M. Then obviously M′.N⊂N:MM'.N \subset N : M and M.(N:M)⊂NM.(N : M) \subset N. On the other hand, since M.M′=AM.M' = A (Proposition 10),

N:M=M′.M.(N:M)⊂M′.N N : M = M'.M.(N : M) \subset M'.N

and N=M.M′.N⊂M.(N:M)N = M.M'.N \subset M.(N : M), whence (ii).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
