Commutative Algebra, chapter V, § 1. Notion of an integral element

Let AA be an integral domain, KK its field of fractions and SS a multiplicative subset of AA such that 0∉S0 \notin S.

(i) Let BB be a subring of KK which is integral over AA and let f\mathfrak{f} be the annihilator of the AA-module B/AB/A. Then S−1fS^{-1}\mathfrak{f} is contained in the annihilator of the (S−1A)(S^{-1}A)-module S−1B/S−1AS^{-1}B/S^{-1}A and is equal to this annihilator if BB is a finitely generated AA-module.

(ii) Let A′A' be the integral closure of AA. For S−1AS^{-1}A to be integrally closed, it is sufficient that the annihilator f\mathfrak{f} of the AA-module A′/AA'/A meet SS. This condition is also necessary if A′A' is a finitely generated AA-module.

(i) As fB⊂A\mathfrak{f}B \subset A, (S−1f)(S−1B)⊂S−1A(S^{-1}\mathfrak{f})(S^{-1}B) \subset S^{-1}A and hence S−1fS^{-1}\mathfrak{f} is contained in Ann⁡(S−1B/S−1A)\operatorname{Ann}(S^{-1}B/S^{-1}A). If BB is a finitely generated AA-module, the equation S−1f=Ann⁡(S−1B/S−1A)S^{-1}\mathfrak{f} = \operatorname{Ann}(S^{-1}B/S^{-1}A) is a special case of formula (9) of Chapter II, § 2, no. 4, S−1B/S−1AS^{-1}B/S^{-1}A being canonically identified with S−1(B/A)S^{-1}(B/A).

(ii) By Corollary 1 S−1A′S^{-1}A' is the integral closure of S−1AS^{-1}A. As the relations f∩S≠∅\mathfrak{f} \cap S \neq \varnothing and S−1f=S−1AS^{-1}\mathfrak{f} = S^{-1}A are equivalent (Chapter II, § 2, no. 5, Remark) (ii) is an immediate consequence of (i).

If BB is a subring of KK which is integral over AA, the annihilator ff of B/AB/A (equal by definition to the transporter A:BA : B (Chapter I, § 2, no. 10)) is sometimes called the conductor of BB in AA.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
