Algebra, chapter II, § 11. Graded modules and rings

Let MM be a graded AA-module and EE a submodule of MM; it follows from Proposition 4(i) that there exists a largest graded submodule N′N' of MM contained in EE and a smallest graded submodule N′′N'' of MM containing EE; N′N' is the set of x∈Ex \in E all of whose homogeneous components belong to EE and N′′N'' is the submodule of MM generated by the homogeneous components of a generating system of EE.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
