Algebra, chapter IV, § 2. Zeros of polynomials

— Suppose that A\mathbf{A} is an integral domain. Let f∈A[X]f \in \mathbf{A}[X], of degree <n< n, and let KK be a subring of A\mathbf{A} which is a field. If there exist nn distinct elements α1,…,an\alpha_1, \ldots, a_n of A\mathbf{A} such that αi∈K\alpha_i \in K and f(αi)∈Kf(\alpha_i) \in K for i=1,…,ni = 1, \ldots, n, then f∈K[X]f \in K[X].

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
