Integration, chapter IV, § 1. Upper integral of a positive function

— If XX is a discrete space, μ\mu a positive measure on XX, and if one sets α(x)=μ(φ{x})\alpha(x) = \mu(\varphi_{\{x\}}), then μ∗(f)=∑x∈Xα(x)f(x)\mu^*(f) = \sum_{x \in X} \alpha(x) f(x) for every numerical function f≥0f \geq 0 defined on XX, since such a function is continuous (No. 1, Example).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
