Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter II, § 1. Enveloping bigebra of a Lie algebra

Let π:E→E′\pi : E \to E' be a surjective cogebras morphism. If EE is coassociative (resp. cocommutative), so is E′E'.

Let BB be an associative KK-algebra; the mapping f↦f∘πf \mapsto f \circ \pi is an injective algebra homomorphism of HomK(E′,B)\mathrm{Hom}_K(E', B) into HomK(E,B)\mathrm{Hom}_K(E, B). It then suffices to apply Proposition 1 (resp. Proposition 2) of Algebra, Chapter III, § 11, no. 2.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
