Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 6. Real and complex Lie groups

Let GG be a Lie group, G′G' a Lie subgroup of GG and a∈L(G)a \in L(G). The following conditions are equivalent: (i) a∈L(G′)a \in L(G'); (ii) exp⁡(λa)∈G′\exp(\lambda a) \in G' for all λ∈K\lambda \in K and ∣λ∣|\lambda| sufficiently small; (iii) exp⁡(λa)∈G\exp(\lambda a) \in G for all λ∈K\lambda \in K. The argument is as in §4§ 4, no. 4, Corollary 1 to Proposition 8.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
