Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 6. Real and complex Lie groups

Let GG be a Lie group, HH an integral subgroup of GG and a∈L(G)a \in L(G). Consider the following conditions: (i) a∈L(H)a \in L(H); (ii) exp⁡G(λa)∈H\exp_G(\lambda a) \in H for all λ∈K\lambda \in K. Then (i) ⇒\Rightarrow (ii). If the topology of HH admits a countable base, then (i) ⇔\Leftrightarrow (ii). Let ii be the canonical injection of HH into GG. If a∈L(H)a \in L(H), then

exp⁡G(λa)=(exp⁡G∘L(i))(λa)=(i∘exp⁡H)(λa)∈H. \exp_G(\lambda a) = (\exp_G \circ L(i))(\lambda a) = (i \circ \exp_H)(\lambda a) \in H.
Hence (i) ⇒\Rightarrow (ii). The converse when HH has a countable base follows from Proposition 3.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
