Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 6. Real and complex Lie groups

Let E be a complete normable algebra over C\mathbf{C} and w∈L(E)w \in \mathscr{L}(E). Suppose that every z∈Sp wz \in \mathrm{Sp}\,w satisfies ∣J(z)∣<2π3|\mathscr{J}(z)| < \frac{2\pi}{3}. The following conditions are equivalent: (i) w is a derivation of E; (ii) exp w is an automorphism of E. This follows from Corollary 1 with n=2n = 2 and ff the multiplication of E.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
