General Topology, chapter IX, § 6. Polish spaces, Souslin spaces, Borel sets

Let (An)(A_n) be a sequence of subsets of a Hausdorff topological space XX. Then the restriction of the diagonal mapping f:X→XNf : X \to X^\mathbf{N} to the subspace ⋂nAn\bigcap_n A_n of XX is a homeomorphism of ⋂nAn\bigcap_n A_n into a closed subspace of ∏nAn\prod_n A_n.

This image is the intersection of ∏nAn\prod_n A_n and the diagonal Δ=f(X)\Delta = f(X), which is closed in XNX^\mathbf{N} because XX is Hausdorff (Chapter I, §8,§ 8, no. 1); and ff is a homeomorphism of XX onto Δ\Delta.

With the hypotheses of Proposition 3, ∏nAn\prod_n A_n is a Polish space (Proposition 1), hence ⋂nAn\bigcap_n A_n is Polish by Lemma 1 and Proposition 1.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
