General Topology, chapter IX, § 6. Polish spaces, Souslin spaces, Borel sets

In a Souslin space XX, every Borel set is a Souslin set.

Let I\mathfrak{I} be the set of all subsets AA of XX such that both AA and A‾\overline{A} are Souslin sets. By Proposition 8 of no. 2, I\mathfrak{I} is a σ\sigma-algebra. Every closed subset FF of XX belongs to I\mathfrak{I}, for both FF and F‾\overline{F} are Souslin sets (no. 2, Proposition 5); hence I\mathfrak{I} contains all Borel sets of XX (cf. no. 6, Theorem 2, Corollary).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
