Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 1. Profondeur

Let AA be a noetherian ring, NN a finitely generated AA-module. The greatest lower bound in N∪{+∞}N \cup \{+\infty\} of the set of integers nn such that ExtAn(N,A)\mathrm{Ext}_A^n(N, A) is nonzero is sometimes called the grade of NN, and is denoted by grade(N)(N). By Prop. 9, this is also the depth of AA along the support of NN, or again (No. 4, Theorem 2) the least upper bound of the set of lengths of AA-regular sequences of elements of the annihilator of NN. Since for every prime ideal pp of AA the annihilator of NpN_p is equal to Ann(N)p\mathrm{Ann}(N)_p (II, § 2, No. 4, formula (9)), we deduce from Prop. 5 of No. 3 the equality

grade(N)=inf⁡p∈Spec(A)grade(Np)=inf⁡m∈Ωgrade(Nm), \mathrm{grade}(N) = \inf_{p \in \mathrm{Spec}(A)} \mathrm{grade}(N_p) = \inf_{m \in \Omega} \mathrm{grade}(N_m),

where Ω\Omega denotes the set of maximal ideals of AA.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
