Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 1. Profondeur

Let A be a noetherian ring satisfying the following two conditions: (i) for every minimal prime ideal pp of AA, the ring ApA_p is reduced; (ii) for every prime ideal pp of A of height ≥1\geq 1, one has prof(Ap)≥1\mathrm{prof}(A_p) \geq 1. Then A is reduced.

Let nn denote the nilradical of A. For every minimal prime ideal pp of A, one has by (i) np=0n_p = 0, that is, p∉Supp(n)p \not\in \mathrm{Supp}(n) and afortioria fortiori p∉AssA(n)p \not\in \mathrm{Ass}_A(n). For every p∈Spec(A)p \in \mathrm{Spec}(A) of height ≥1\geq 1, one has by (ii) pAp∉AssAp(Ap)pA_p \not\in \mathrm{Ass}_{A_p}(A_p) and afortioria fortiori pAp∉AssAp(np)pA_p \not\in \mathrm{Ass}_{A_p}(n_p), whence p∉AssA(n)p \not\in \mathrm{Ass}_A(n) (IV, § 1, No. 2, prop. 5). Thus the set AssA(n)\mathrm{Ass}_A(n) is empty, which implies that nn is zero.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
