Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 6. Extension des scalaires dans les algèbres régulières

Let kk be a field, AA an absolutely regular (resp. absolutely normal) kk-algebra, and KK an extension of kk. Suppose that AA is essentially of finite type or that the extension KK of kk is of finite type.

a) The ring A(K)A_{(K)} is regular (resp. normal).

b) If the extension KK of kk is separable, the kk-algebra A(K)A_{(K)} is absolutely regular (resp. absolutely normal).

Assertion a) results from proposition 7; assertion b) results from cor. 1 and example 2.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
