Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 6. Extension des scalaires dans les algèbres régulières

Let kk be a field, AA a kk-algebra, and KK an extension of kk. Suppose that the kk-algebra AA is essentially of finite type or that the extension KK of kk is of finite type. In order that the kk-algebra AA be absolutely regular (resp. absolutely normal), it is necessary and sufficient that the KK-algebra A(K)A_{(K)} be so.

Suppose AA absolutely regular (resp. absolutely normal) and let K′K' be a purely inseparable extension of KK of finite degree. The ring K′⊗KA(K)K' \otimes_K A_{(K)}, isomorphic to K′⊗kAK' \otimes_k A, is regular (resp. normal) by cor. 2.

Suppose conversely that the KK-algebra A(K)A_{(K)} is absolutely regular (resp. absolutely normal), and let k′k' be a purely inseparable extension of kk of finite degree. Let LL be a composite extension of k′k' and KK; then the ring A(L)A_{(L)} may be identified with L⊗KA(K)L \otimes_K A_{(K)}, hence is regular (resp. normal); consequently, the ring A(k′)A_{(k')} is regular (resp. normal) by prop. 5, a) of No. 3.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
