Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 7. Algèbres lisses

Let kk be a field, AA a noetherian kk-algebra and JJ an ideal of AA contained in the radical of AA. Suppose that the kk-algebra AA is formally smooth for the JJ-adic topology. Then it is absolutely regular.

Let indeed k′k' be a finite extension of kk and A′A' the AA-algebra A(k′)A_{(k')}; it is a question of proving that, for every maximal ideal m′m' of A′A', the noetherian local ring Am′′A'_{m'} is regular. Now one has JA′⊂m′JA' \subset m': in fact, the inverse image of m′m' in AA is a maximal ideal of AA (V, § 2, No. 1, prop. 1), hence contains JJ. The k′k'-algebra A′A' is formally smooth for the JA′JA'-adic topology (No. 2, prop. 4, b)), and the k′k'-algebra Am′′A'_{m'} is formally smooth for the JAm′′JA'_{m'}-adic topology (No. 2, prop. 4, a)), hence also for the m′Am′′m'A'_{m'}-adic topology. Let k0k_0 be the prime subfield of k′k'. Then Am′′A'_{m'} is formally smooth over k0k_0 for the m′Am′′m'A'_{m'}-adic topology (cor. to th. 1 of No. 3); since κ(m′)\kappa(m') is separable over k0k_0, the ring Am′′A'_{m'} is regular (cor. 1).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
