Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 7. Algèbres lisses
Let K be an ideal of A containing J. Suppose that there exists an integer m such that is contained in JK (this condition is satisfied if A is noetherian). If is formally smooth over k for the K/J-adic topology, the mapping has an A-linear retraction.
Let C denote the -algebra ; the ideal N = of C is square zero and the quotient ring C/N identifies with . Endow C and C/N with the discrete topology, and A/J with the K/J-adic topology. The canonical homomorphism is continuous; it therefore has a lifting .
The mapping of A into N is then a -derivation (No. 1, Prop. 1), hence is written with . But the assumption implies , so that the canonical mapping is bijective; there therefore exists such that, for a in A, one has . Taking a in J, one sees that is equal to the class of a in J/JK. Since identifies with , is the required retraction.
The fact that the condition on K is satisfied when the algebra A is noetherian follows from III, § 3, No. 1, Cor. 2 of Prop. 1.
Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
