Algebra, chapter IX, § 10. Angles

The group S+S^+ of direct similitudes is commutative. Whatever the non-isotropic vectors x,yx, y of EE, there exists one and only one direct similitude uu such that y=u(x)y = u(x).

The first assertion follows from the fact that the algebra A(Φ)A(\Phi) is commutative. Since EE is a monogenic free A(Φ)A(\Phi)-module generated by xx (resp. yy), there exists one and only one element uu (resp. u′u') of A(Φ)A(\Phi) such that y=u(x)y = u(x) (resp. x=u′(y)x = u'(y)); hence x=u(u′(x))x = u(u'(x)), and uu′uu' is the identity; this shows that uu is invertible, and is therefore a direct similitude.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
