Algebra, chapter X, § 1. Compléments d’algèbre linéaire

Let BB be a ring and ρ:A→B\rho : A \to B a homomorphism. If EE is a flat AA-module, the BB-module E(B)=B⊗AEE_{(B)} = B \otimes_A E is flat. Indeed, let u:N′→Nu : N' \to N be an injective homomorphism of right BB-modules; then u⊗B1E(B)u \otimes_B 1_{E_{(B)}} is canonically identified with the homomorphism u⊗A1E:N′⊗AE→N⊗AEu \otimes_A 1_E : N' \otimes_A E \to N \otimes_A E, which is injective if EE is flat.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
