Algebra, chapter X, § 1. Compléments d’algèbre linéaire

Let (Ei)i∈I(E_i)_{i\in I} be a family of a-modules, E=∏i∈IEiE=\prod_{i\in I}E_i their product. For the a-module EE to be injective, it is necessary and sufficient that each of the EiE_i be so.

Let u:M′→Mu : M' \to M be an injective homomorphism of a-modules. For the product homomorphism

∏i∈IHom⁡A(M,Ei)⟶∏i∈IHom⁡A(M′,Ei) \prod_{i\in I}\operatorname{Hom}_A(M,E_i) \longrightarrow \prod_{i\in I}\operatorname{Hom}_A(M',E_i)

to be surjective, it is necessary and sufficient that each of the homomorphisms Hom⁡A(M,Ei)→Hom⁡A(M′,Ei)\operatorname{Hom}_A(M,E_i)\to\operatorname{Hom}_A(M',E_i) be so (II, p. 10, prop. 5); this proves the proposition since ∏i∈IHom⁡A(M,Ei)\prod_{i\in I}\operatorname{Hom}_A(M,E_i) is canonically identified with Hom⁡A(M,E)\operatorname{Hom}_A(M,E).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
