Algebra, chapter X, § 1. Compléments d’algèbre linéaire

If the ring AA is left Noetherian, every direct sum of injective AA-modules is injective.

Let (Ei)i∈I(E_i)_{i \in I} be a family of injective AA-modules, let EE be their direct sum, let α\alpha be an ideal of AA and let u:α→Eu : \alpha \to E be an AA-homomorphism. Since AA is noetherian, α\alpha is of finite type, and consequently the canonical mapping

φ:⨁i∈IHom⁡A(α,Ei)→Hom⁡A(α,E) \varphi : \bigoplus_{i \in I} \operatorname{Hom}_A(\alpha, E_i) \to \operatorname{Hom}_A(\alpha, E)

is bijective; let (ui)(u_i) be the inverse image of uu by φ\varphi. Since each EiE_i is injective, and the family (ui)(u_i) has finite support, there exists an element (ei)i∈I(e_i)_{i \in I} of EE such that ui(a)=aeiu_i(a) = ae_i for all a∈αa \in \alpha and all i∈Ii \in I, hence u(a)=a((ei))u(a) = a((e_i)) for all a∈αa \in \alpha, and EE is injective.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
