Algebra, chapter X, § 1. Compléments d’algèbre linéaire

For the AA-module EE to be injective, it is necessary and sufficient that every injective AA-homomorphism f:E→Ff:E\to F possess an AA-linear retraction.

Suppose EE is injective and let f:E→Ff:E\to F be an injective AA-homomorphism. Then

Hom⁡A(f,1E):Hom⁡A(F,E)→Hom⁡A(E,E) \operatorname{Hom}_A(f,1_E):\operatorname{Hom}_A(F,E)\to\operatorname{Hom}_A(E,E)

is surjective; there therefore exists r∈Hom⁡A(F,E)r\in\operatorname{Hom}_A(F,E) such that r∘f=1Er\circ f=1_E and rr is an AA-linear retraction of ff. Conversely, there exists an injective AA-module II and an injective AA-homomorphism f:E→If:E\to I (cor. 2); if ff possesses an AA-linear retraction, EE is injective by prop. 9 of X, p. 16.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
