Algebra, chapter X, § 2. Complexes de A-modules

Let C,C′,D,D′C, C', D, D' be four complexes, f:C→C′f : C \to C', g:C→C′g : C \to C', u:D→Cu : D \to C, v:C′→D′v : C' \to D' four morphisms. If ss is a homotopy connecting ff to gg, then v∘s∘uv \circ s \circ u is a homotopy connecting v∘f∘uv \circ f \circ u to v∘g∘uv \circ g \circ u. If ff and gg are homotopic, then v∘f∘uv \circ f \circ u and v∘g∘uv \circ g \circ u are also homotopic. This is clear.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
