Algebra, chapter X, § 8. Dimension homologique

Assume that A0A_0 is semisimple. Let MM be a graded aa-module bounded below and let nn be an integer ≥0\geq 0. In order that dpA(M)≤n\mathrm{dp}_A(M) \leq n, it is necessary and sufficient that

Tor⁡n+1A(A0,M)=0. \operatorname{Tor}_{n+1}^A(A_0, M) = 0.
If dpA(M)≤n\mathrm{dp}_A(M) \leq n, then Tor⁡n+1A(A0,M)=0\operatorname{Tor}_{n+1}^A(A_0, M) = 0 (X, p. 135, Lemma 1). Conversely, let ⋯→L1→L0→M→0\dots \to L_1 \to L_0 \to M \to 0 be an exact sequence of graded aa-modules bounded below such that L0,…,Ln−1L_0, \dots, L_{n-1} are graded free (X, p. 56, Prop. 11); according to Cor. 3 of X, p. 131, the equality Tor⁡n+1A(A0,M)=0\operatorname{Tor}_{n+1}^A(A_0, M) = 0 implies Tor⁡1A(A0,K)=0\operatorname{Tor}_1^A(A_0, K) = 0; since K/J0KK/J_0 K is a projective A0A_0-module because A0A_0 is semisimple (X, p. 140, Prop. 6), KK is projective by Prop. 8 (X, p. 144), and dpA(M)≤n\mathrm{dp}_A(M) \leq n.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
