Commutative Algebra, IX, p. 44
Let A be a ring of characteristic . The filtration of by the ideals is compatible with the ring structure of , and denotes the associated graded ring. For every integer , let denote the ring A endowed with the structure of an A-algebra given by the homomorphism , where denotes raising to the -th power. Prove that, for every integer , the mapping of A into which to associates the class of is an isomorphism of the A-module onto the A-module . Endow the A-module with the structure of a graded ring given by the mappings of into (for every pair of positive integers ). Now prove that the preceding isomorphisms define an isomorphism of graded A-algebras of onto .
