Bourbaki marks this one as harder than the rest.

Let ρ:A→B\rho : A \to B be a local homomorphism of noetherian local rings, such that ρ(mA)B\rho(m_A)B is a definition ideal of BB.

a) Construct for every BB-module NN a natural AA-linear isomorphism of HA(N)H_A(N) onto HB(N)H_B(N). (Using an injective resolution of NN, now prove that it suffices to prove that one has HAi(J)=0H_A^i(J) = 0 for all i>0i > 0 and all indecomposable injective BB-modules JJ. Let qq be the unique element of Ass⁡B(J)\operatorname{Ass}_B(J), and p=ρ−1(q)p = \rho^{-1}(q). If p≠mAp \neq m_A, observe that there exists a∈mAa \in m_A such that the homothety aJa_J is bijective. If p=mAp = m_A, and if II is a minimal injective resolution of the AA-module JJ, observe that one has Ass⁡A(In)={mA}\operatorname{Ass}_A(I^n) = \{m_A\} for all nn.)

b) Suppose in addition that BB is a flat AA-module. Construct for every AA-module MM a natural BB-linear isomorphism of B⊗AHA(M)B \otimes_A H_A(M) onto HB(B⊗AM)H_B(B \otimes_A M).
