Commutative Algebra, III, 245

Let KK be an infinite commutative field and AA the ring of formal power series K[[X,Y]]K[[X, Y]] in two indeterminates, which is a complete Hausdorff Noetherian local ring. Define a multiplicative subset SS of AA such that S−1AS^{-1}A is not a semi-local ring (if (λn)(\lambda_n) is an infinite sequence of distinct elements of KK, consider the prime ideals pn=A(X+λnY)p_n = A(X + \lambda_n Y) of AA).
